The proposed 2026 capital budget for Niagara Falls — now available for public input — includes business cases for 118 projects with a gross value of $83.3 million.

Staff reviewed and prioritized the projects and recommend 112 with a gross value of $78.5 million be funded, including with $27.6 million from grants and external contributions.

Under the province’s strong-mayor legislation, Jim Diodati is required to present budgets to city council.
