The Boone County Coroner’s Office has determined the manner of death for the Guatemalan woman who was fatally shot outside of a house in Whitestown, Indiana .

Maria Florinda Ríos Pérez de Velasquez , 32, was fatally shot on Nov. 5, after she and her husband, Mauricio Velázquez, arrived at the wrong Boone County address for a cleaning job, according to the Whitestown Metropolitan Police Department. Mauricio Velázquez has insisted they were at the correct address.

The Boone County Coroner’s Office conducted an autopsy on Nov. 6, and determined that the manner of death was a homicide and that she died from a single gunshot wound to the head, according to the coroner's press release.
