JANESVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) - A signature bond was set Thursday for a 17-year-old arrested after a deadly crash in Rock County.
Carter Perteete, 17, appeared virtually for his initial appearance in Rock County Circuit Court.
A judge ordered a $50,000 signature bond for Perteete, meaning he only needs to pay it if he breaks his bond conditions or misses court. Conditions of his bond include that he not make contact with the other victims, and he is not allowed to drive. He has a curfew of 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each day.
Perteete is accused of homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle, two counts of reckless driving causing great bodily harm and one count of reckless driving causing injury.
