ROCHESTER, Minn. - Family Service Rochester has a program to help those who are in need. The Meals on Wheels program provides home deliveries of hot, fresh, and nutritious meals, seven days a week at lunch time.

The program includes multiple routes, including 11 during the week and nine over the weekend. People ages 60 and over, as well as adults with disabilities are able to enroll. The government shutdown has led to an increase in interest in programs like this.

FSR is also provides a fresh food program aimed at the same group. This program offers access to fresh fruits and vegetables, helping participants stretch their food budgets.
