Gallup Hill Elementary School in Ledyard w ill be closed for a second day in a row Friday, according to the Superintendent.
This comes after a student set a fire intentionally in the building Wednesday morning, prompting early dismissal shortly after, and s school cancellation on Thursday.

It caused significant smoke damage to the building, and cleanup crews were working throughout the day.
“He was saying 'Nana, there was a fire, and it was bad,’” said one grandmother of a Gallup Hill student, speaking about her grandson. She wanted to remain anonymous.
