Lansing — Robert Minard, former Michigan House Speaker Lee Chatfield's chief of staff, pleaded guilty to two felony charges Thursday, as part of an agreement with state prosecutors that requires him to testify against his former boss at an upcoming embezzlement trial.
Robert Minard's guilty plea in Ingham County Circuit Court came two weeks after his wife, Anne Minard, who also worked for Chatfield, reached a similar deal with Attorney General Dana Nessel's office. Both of the Minards' agreements included sentences of 36 months of probation.
