Grovetown, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - People lined up before the doors opened at Concerned Women Inc., a food pantry that has served the Grovetown community for about 25 years.
The organization typically provides groceries for more than 100 families weekly. On Oct. 30, that number reached 250.
“That’s a record number for this time of the months of the year for us,” said Beatrice Sanders, executive director of Concerned Women Inc.
Sanders said the government shutdown is causing concern among clients, she said.
