SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - The Federal Aviation Administration will begin cutting flights by 4% tomorrow and increase reductions over the weekend, according to sources familiar with the situation.
Springfield-Branson National Airport has already experienced disruptions, with two departing flights delayed, one departure canceled, four arriving flights delayed, and one arrival canceled.

Airport officials advise travelers flying in the next few days to update their contact information with their airlines and to arrive at least 2 hours before their scheduled departure. The government shutdown requires passengers to add an additional 15 minutes to their arrival time.
