A vehicle on MBTA Commuter Rail tracks has stopped at least two trains on Thursday evening, according to the T.

The incident involved the Fitchburg Line, the MBTA said. An inbound and an outbound train were affected because of the incident.

Train 1427 from North Station was terminated in South Acton, while the train from Littleton/Route 495 was canceled.

A large number of first responders were at a rail crossing near a stopped commuter train.
