LOGAN — A 34-year-old Logan man will serve more than one year behind bars for a history of domestic violence. Carson Jacob Warr has been in the Cache County Jail since being arrested July 23, after kidnapping a woman and forcing her to drive him to Salt Lake City .
Warr was sentenced Nov. 5 in Logan’s 1st District Court. He previously accepted a plea deal, pleading guilty to two counts of aggravated assault, amended to a third-degree felony.
According to prosecutors, Logan City Police officers received a delayed domestic dispute call in July. The victim explained how she was at Warr’s residence on May 25, when he began yelling at her about money. He reportedly pushed her into a kitchen counter, fracturing one of her ribs.
