GEORGETOWN, Colo. (KKTV) - As ski resorts across Colorado prepare for the winter season, Loveland Ski Area says it is ready to kick off its 88th year!

The ski resort said its 2025/2026 season officially begins Saturday.

On opening day, the resort said Chet’s Dream will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and a small early-season terrain park will be available.

“Opening Day is always one of the most exciting days of the year for our team and our guests,” said Rob Goodell, Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President at Loveland Ski Area. “Our snowmaking and mountain teams have worked tirelessly to get the mountain ready, and we can’t wait to see our community back on snow.”
