LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- Lafayette Parish voters on Nov. 15 will decide whether two property taxes will be renewed for another 10 years.

The Mayor-President continues to push the importance of the two millages. If the renewals fail, services will be at risk. The millages were established in 2015; bring in an estimated $23.5 million annually.

LCG chief administrative officer, Rachel Godeaux, explains that if the millages fail, Lafayette Parish will face funding and service gaps.

"We can't necessarily spend our road and bridge mileage, let's say, if that one passes, on the Office of Public Health Services. We couldn't spend that money on mosquito control," Godeaux said.
