IBERIA PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- A $30 million asphalt improvement project is underway on US 90, replacing old concrete with new pavement across several parishes, including Iberia Parish.
The Acadiana Planning Commission is overseeing the project, which involves removing deteriorating concrete between La. 83 and La. 85 and replacing it with stronger, longer-lasting material. This initiative is part of a federal and state effort to meet pavement-quality standards along major freight and evacuation routes.
