SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - You talk about a flip flop weather pattern, it’s set to happen over the next 4 days.
Two First Alert Weather Days are in effect for Monday and Tuesday as a result of a strong cold front moving through the area late Sunday. Unfortunately this front will not bring much rainfall but we will see some with a line of showers and thunderstorms moving in late Sunday into early Monday morning.
Besides the cold it will be windy! Winds are expected to pick up out of the NW at 20-30 mph on Monday. Expect boating advisories and rip currents Monday through Tuesday. The coldest morning will be Tuesday with lows dropping into the low 40s inland and mid 40s near the coast. With a wind out of the north at 5-10 mph on Tuesday morning it will feel more like the upper 30s for most.
