JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — A Jamestown woman is charged with menacing and resisting arrest.
According to Jamestown Police, 55-year-old Tammy Johnson got into an altercation with someone, then displayed a handgun. Police made contact with her through her apartment door around 3 a.m. Wednesday, but she would not come out.
Investigators obtained a search warrant, and the Jamestown Police Department’s SWAT team executed the warrant to enter the apartment. Johnson was taken into custody without incident, according to police.
Johnson was taken to the Jamestown City Jail and charged with second-degree menacing and resisting arrest. Police said she was being held pending arraignment.
