BUFFALO, N.Y. — It will soon be looking a lot like Christmas in downtown Buffalo, where the city is getting ready for its annual tree lighting ceremony Dec. 6 at Fountain Plaza.

The celebration will begin at 5 p.m. that day with free ice skating in Rotary Rink. You can bring your own skates, or rent them on-site; it costs $2 for children and $3 for adults.
