SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - A wall, meant to honor Iowans, who have died serving their country, is now on display in Sioux City.

Inside Building 12, on the Western Iowa Tech campus, the displays honor Iowans who died during World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The displays have dog tags bearing names of those killed in action.

Visitors can use a lead pencil, and a piece of paper, to make a rubbing of the names on the dog tags, then learn about that person’s story, and learn how they died.

The president of Vietnam Veterans of America North West chapter says he doesn’t want these names to be forgotten.
