New research may help Alzheimer's patients preserve social memory

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Alzheimer’s disease takes a lot from the people who have it, including their memories of their family and friends.

But new research from the University of Virginia School of Medicine suggests a treatment that could help preserve those memories.
