GRESHAM, Ore. — The suspect accused of shooting a woman in a Gresham strip mall parking lot , which has since left her paralyzed, has been arrested.
Myranda Rice said she’s relieved the suspected shooter is off the streets, but she’s still struggling to recover emotionally and physically after the attack.
“It's incredibly hard to move your body when half of it's dead. Like you never realize how heavy it is until something like this happens," she said.
Christopher Hernandez was arrested Tuesday morning after Gresham detectives and members of East Metro SWAT served a warrant at a residence in the 2300 block of Southeast 7th Street in Gresham.
