Flight operations at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport were disrupted on Friday (November 7, 2025) morning following a malfunction in the Air Traffic Control system.

Data from flight tracking platform Flightradar24 showed several departures since 5 a.m. were delayed, with more than 60 flights affected. Incoming flights were not hampered yet.

Airport sources said Airport Authority of India’s ATC system had been sluggish since Thursday (November 6) evening, when at least 25 delays were reported.

The airport handles over 60 aircraft movements every hour, adding up to about 1,500 arrivals and departures daily.
