D’Angelo Tavarez scored three goals for his second hat trick of the season, leading the way for Bergen Catholic in a 7-0 win over Pope John in the North Jersey Non-Public A tournament in Oradell.

Bergen Catholic scored three goals in the first half and four in the second in its eighth shutout of the season.

Michael Fenton and James Melia recorded one goal and two assists each, while Tyler Oehm had one goal and an assist. Liam Agnas netted his sixth goal of the year.

Pope John’s 2025 record ends at 10-11.

Bergen Catholic (16-4-1), the tournament’s No. 2 seed, hosts Delbarton in the semifinal on Nov. 10.
