TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A mistrial was declared on Thursday in the case of a Tallahassee woman accused of the death of her three-year-old child.
Cameren Evans was on trial , facing aggravated manslaughter charges for the 2023 death of her son. An autopsy showed the toddler died after ingesting fentanyl.
Evans is also accused of leaving her child in the care of Tony Balcom , from whom she bought drugs. He is facing the same aggravated manslaughter charges as Evans.
Court records show a mistrial was declared on Thursday after the jury deliberated.
