SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — "Open for some possible problems" is how Woodbury County's Building Services Director is describing the latest issue at the Woodbury County Law Enforcement Center (LEC).
Kenny Schmitz said he just recently learned that the jail failed its latest boiler inspection.
The old certificate expired on October 31, leaving the facility without a required certificate for the boiler system at the multi-million dollar facility that opened in 2024.
