SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Sandra Pena was selected as the winner of this week’s KLST Pay It Forward campaign sponsored by Carpet Tech.

"Sandra Pena has a heart of gold. Sandra started delivering hot plates to many people that are not able to get to a soup line, like people that are in wheelchairs and has never asked for help or complained," said her nominator, Stanson Walker.

Walker continued that despite her own adversities, Pena never gives up on helping others.

"Even with car trouble, she helps people get to the grocery store to shop and even takes a couple to do laundry," Walker said. "She doesn't get paid. She does this out of the kindness of her heart. If that isn't an act of kindness, I don't know what is. She deserves to be recognized."
