Donna Terrell's Warrior Lodge at Jefferson Regional is now only a few weeks from completion.

Prostate cancer patient Thomas Kendrix believes it will help so many patients like him who need some assistance. Kendrix drives two hours each way from Crossett for radiation therapy five days a week at Jones-Dunklin Cancer Center.

He said sometimes he'd get on the road to make the trip and then want to turn back around and go home, dreading the long drive.

Construction works are completing the drywall and installing exhaust fans among and stringing electrical wiring.
