LOUISVILLE, Ky. — As Veterans Day approaches, Western Kentucky University (WKU) will host a Veterans Day event Saturday, Nov. 8, from 1 to 4 p.m., following the Bowling Green Veterans Parade. The event will celebrate and honor veterans across the region.

The event will celebrate and honor veterans across the region and will feature World War I and World War II artifacts from the Kentucky Museum’s collection, along with an online honor wall.

Including presentations by historians specializing in military history and activities for children, making it a family-friendly event.

In addition, WKU will observe Veterans Day on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. with a wreath-laying ceremony at Guthrie Bell Tower.

The ceremony will include remarks from WKU President Timothy C. Caboni.
