FARGO, ND (Dakota News Now) -The last time SDSU and NDSU met in volleyball it was in Brookings and both teams were sporting perfect records in the conference. The Jacks won that night and haven’t lost since while the Bison brought a 7-4 league record into Thursday night’s contest on their home floor.
The South Dakota State volleyball team clinched at least a share of the Summit League regular season title Thursday night with a 3-1 win over North Dakota State at Bentson Bunker Fieldhouse.
SDSU’s conference crown is its second in as many seasons and third since joining the Summit League in 2007. The Jackrabbits improve to 13-0 in conference matches and 19-3 overall. NDSU slips to 13-9 on the year and 7-5 in the Summit League.
