Dunkin' released some new green and pink goodies this week to celebrate the upcoming "epic conclusion" of Universal Pictures' "Wicked" franchise .

And "Wicked: For Good" stars Cynthia Erivo (who plays Elphaba) and Jonathan Bailey (who plays Prince Fiyero) helped the New England coffee chain promote the new menu items in a new ad spot.

The commercial, set on the "Wicked" movie set , shows Erivo and Bailey "brainstorming" a Dunkin'-themed bonus scene for the film. The two pitch their idea in front of a cardboard Dunkin' shop while toting around the chain's new themed drinks.

"Let the history books say what they will. I didn't just fly – I ran on Dunkin'," Erivo says dramatically, looking off into the distance.

The ad also nods to one of Boston's favorite slang words.
