JASPER, Ind. (WEVV) — Two new probationary troopers are joining the Indiana State Police Jasper District.
Trooper Aaron Guzman and Trooper Dakota Hatton were among 14 graduates of the 88th Indiana State Police Lateral Academy, where they completed more than 1,200 hours of specialized law enforcement training.
ISP says both are Washington High School alumni and U.S. military veterans.
The troopers will now begin a three-month field training program alongside experienced officers before starting solo patrols in the community.
