HOUMA, La. — The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help to identify two suspects believed to be involved in a series of vehicle burglaries in the Hammond area, including one incident where a suspect fired at a person inside a passing vehicle.
Deputies said several vehicles in the General Ott Road area were broken into during the overnight hours of Halloween night.
While detectives were investigating these incidents, another event occurred in the same area on Tuesday night, when a man reported being shot at as he was leaving for work.
The victim told deputies he slowed down after noticing two suspicious individuals, who then fired multiple shots at his car. He was not injured. Investigators noted that community cooperation helped identify two individuals shown in
