A West Lothian Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) crew were attacked on Wednesday night. ‌

Firefighters were out in Blackridge at around 9.45pm on Bonfire Night when police received a report they were being attacked with “projectiles”. ‌

Over the course of an eight-hour period, crews responded to over 700 emergency calls. The SFRS has confirmed two attacks against their crews were reported during this time. ‌
