Dozens of people have been injured following a series of explosions at a school in Jakarta, Indonesia, during Friday prayers. The blasts occurred in the Kelapa Gading neighbourhood earlier today, sending shockwaves through the community. Three individuals are reported to be in critical condition in hospital, while around 20 students are receiving treatment for their injuries. Authorities have identified a 17-year-old as the "suspected perpetrator" of the attack. Witnesses described hearing two loud explosions just after midday, coinciding with the start of the sermon at the mosque, which is part of a high school compound. The Indonesian Police bomb squad is currently on the scene, conducting inspections of the mosque where the explosions took place. The situation remains under investigation as officials work to determine the full extent of the incident and the motives behind it.
