Every Nov. 11, the United States honors the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces on Veterans Day .
This tradition began as Armistice Day, which celebrated the end of World War I. While Memorial Day remembers those who gave their lives, Veterans Day celebrates all who have worn the uniform, both past and present. It’s a day of gratitude, reflection and community.
