An 'outdated' prison log system still in use across the UK is fuelling accidental releases, it has been claimed.

This afternoon, the Metropolitan Police confirmed Brahim Kaddour-Cherif - the 24-year-old Algerian sex offender accidentally released from HMP Wandsworth last week - was tracked down and arrested in Islington, North London.
