MADISON (WKOW) — 27 News' Pet of the Week is Brasko!

Brasko is a an adult Chihuahua mix from the Dane County Humane Society. He was found as a stray in Middleton at the end of October.

DCHS tried to reunite him with his family, but were unsuccessful, according to DCHS spokesperson Lisa Bernard.

"Brasko can be shy at times, but quickly warms up to show off his great personality," Bernard said. "He loves playing with stuffed toys and will carry them around."

Bernard said Brasko loves attention and will let you know when he wants more pets.

"He is curious and enjoys exploring," Bernard said. "He also knows sit and likes earning treats."

He would be best suited in a home without small children.
