Mark Sanchez has been permanently sidelined at Fox Sports . The former NFL quarterback and Fox Sports analyst has been fired by the network following an alleged attack on a truck driver last month in Indianapolis.

“We can confirm that Mark Sanchez is no longer with the network,” a Fox Sports spokesperson told Deadline. There will be no further comment at this time.”

Sanchez was charged with a felony and three misdemeanors after an altercation Oct. 4 in which truck driver, Perry Tole, age 69, and Sanchez, age 38, fought in an alley between two Indianapolis hotels. The fight led to Sanchez being stabbed and Tole suffering “significant and very severe injuries,” Marion County prosecutor Ryan Mears said.
