LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A 65-year-old man died in a fall off a 130-foot cliff at the Grand Canyon, and rescue teams were brought in to recover the body on Thursday, according to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office (MCSO).
Information provided by MCSO indicated the man had slipped. His body was recovered on loose rocks at the bottom of the cliff.
The incident occurred sometime before 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, just north of the Grand Canyon West Skywalk attraction on the west rim of the Grand Canyon.
