A popular Peterborough bar will be closing this December to allow its owner to fully focus on its new location. The Blind Tiger on Cowgate, run by Neil Treliving, will be shutting its doors for the last time on Christmas Eve.

After opening a second location in August, Mr Treliving said he was "struggling to run two bars" at the same time due to the distance between them. He decided he wanted to focus on the Nene Park location, which is three times bigger than the city centre bar.

The Blind Tiger bar gained popularity in the city for offering something "completely different". Mr Treliving added: "It's niche. I guess it's quite unique in the fact that the one we opened in town was completely different to anything that had been in Peterborough .
