DII Wilmington University beats DI Blue Hens in men's basketball

Officially, it didn’t count for Wilmington University, a Division II school.

But there was no doubt the Wildcats’ stunning men’s basketball win over the Division I University of Delaware on Nov. 7 mattered, and always will.

The Wildcats were superior throughout most of the game at the Carpenter Center and staunchly thwarted any Delaware comeback bid in the second half for a 71-62 win.
