MILLWOOD, W.Va. — The partnership between TIMET and BHE Renewables is going strong in Jackson County.

TIMET and BHE Renewables are both a part of Berkshire Hathaway; however, they operate in distinct sectors with different focuses. TIMET is a subsidiary of Precision Castparts Corporation. It specializes in the production of titanium products for aerospace, defense, industrial and medical applications. BHE Renewables focuses on developing and managing renewable energy projects, such as solar, wind, hydro and geothermal power. Together, they are building a project on 2,000 acres in Jackson County.

Breaking ground in early 2023, the construction phase of building began in March 2024, and the facility is expected to become operational in the latter half of 2025.
