FAIRMONT — Pierpont Community & Technical College proudly celebrated First-Generation College Celebration Week with a campus-wide event honoring students who are the first in their families to attend college.

The “First-Gen Proud Celebration & Charcuterie,” held Friday at the Advanced Technology Center, brought together students, faculty, and staff to recognize the courage and determination of first-generation college students and to spotlight Pierpont’s First-Generation Student Organization.
