This morning temperatures fell into the mid 40s in Albuquerque with mostly clear to clear skies. This afternoon temperatures have risen into the low 60s in the metro area as sunshine blankets the state. Another night of chilly temperatures is expected for northern New Mexico and southern Colorado. However, mild to warm temperatures are expected across New Mexico into the first half of the weekend with breezy conditions.

Later on, Saturday, a backdoor cold front will sweep through the Land of Enchantment ushering in cooler temperatures. The cooler air may drop temperatures in eastern New Mexico 10 degrees below normal for high temperatures on Sunday. In Albuquerque the high on Sunday will be around normal, which is in the low 60s.
