A temporary cool down has arrived in the Land of Enchantment. This morning many towns in northeast New Mexico are seeing temperatures 10 to 20 degrees cooler than just 24 hours ago (as of 6 am). A cold front arrived in eastern New Mexico on Saturday which has supplied cooler air and breezy conditions in Albuquerque. This morning winds have ranged in the upper teens and lower 20s at the International Sunport. Winds will diminish later this afternoon for calmer conditions and cooler high temperatures across the state. In Albuquerque high temperatures are forecasted to be seasonal, for the first time all month, while counties in eastern New Mexico will have highs roughly 5 to 10 degrees below normal.
