Schools across the area have spent the month teaching students about the Hispanic culture and people who have made significant contributions to our society.

At Dolores Huerta Elementary in Fort Worth, a school-wide effort to celebrate Hispanic heritage culminated in a living museum display for the community to view and learn from the students' recent learning experiences.

Showing up at school in the evening is par for the course in elementary school. Your child showing you their schedule, meeting the teacher, and seeing their work.
