LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The unseasonably warm temperatures in the 70s for November are about to come crashing down on Sunday. A potent cold front from northern Canada is swinging through the region Saturday evening, ushering in the coldest conditions we have experienced so far this season.

A freeze warning is in effect from Sunday evening through Monday morning. The THV11 Weather Impact Team has issued an alert for the biting cold and the expectation of a widespread freeze on Monday and Tuesday mornings.

What should I expect?

Temperatures will drop from north to south Arkansas on Saturday night into Sunday as the chilly air pours into the region. The mercury will remain in the 50s Sunday, and gusty NNW 15-25 mph winds will make it feel colder.
