Halo Infinite was meant to be the future of Halo for a long time to come, but that's officially coming to an end soon. Halo Studios has recently been placing an emphasis on other projects, announcing a pivot to Unreal Engine 5 and unveiling a remake of Halo: Combat Evolved. Now, the end of Halo Infinite 's content updates is on the horizon.

In the November Community Livestream (available on YouTube ), Halo Studios announced that the upcoming Operation Infinite will be the last major content update for the game. Operation Infinite's " free, 100-tier Operation Pass and 100-tier Premium Pass ", which will add plenty of new armor sets, weapon models, and more.

Operation Infinite will also double the rate of earning Career Rank and Spartan Points to make progression faster
