A 31-year-old man with a long list of outstanding warrants has been arrested after police say forensic evidence linked him to a stolen vehicle earlier this year.
Members of the Manitoba Integrated Violent Offender Apprehension Unit picked up Richard Scott Rayland on November 5 at a residence in the 100 block of Garry Street.

The arrest follows an investigation that started in early April when a 2014 Honda Accord Touring was stolen from a home on Hull Avenue. The vehicle turned up more than a month later, abandoned on Kingfisher Crescent.
Officers with the Forensic Identification Section went over the car and lifted fingerprints from inside. Those prints were later analyzed and identified as belonging to Rayland, according to police.
