POCATELLO — A local veteran is launching a nonprofit organization to provide free jiu-jitsu training for first responders and veterans in an effort to support people struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder or military disabilities.
Dan Gandy, a Pocatello Marine Corps veteran and Idaho State University graduate student in clinical rehabilitation counseling, founded Armor of God Jiu-Jitsu to assist military veterans and first responders who grapple with mental health challenges and other issues.
