Indian Creek Productions, Inc., sponsor of the annual Spirit of Nations Powwow at Jefferson County High School in Dandridge, is a recipient of a $5,000 grant for Tennessee America 250 initiatives from the Tennessee Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial.

The grant award will be used for the display of a southeastern bark encampment and the demonstration of Indigenous arts and crafts at the powwow in March, 2026.

The State of Tennessee made available $6,435,000 to the Tennessee State Museum to administer on behalf of the Commission, with the majority of funding to be regranted to Tennessee communities to support statewide America 250 activities.
