Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker announced renewed efforts to invest in the corridor through a partnership between city and business leaders as well as the community.

Officials said that they want community input for the long term projects to fix up and transform the neighborhood, but residents will start seeing short term projects get started as early as this year.

This renewed effort will be lead by the Market East Advisory Group that will be made up of business leaders, like Comcast and Jefferson, community members and city leadership.
